Description
Paul "Bear" Bryant characture pen and ink drawing. I pulled this out of my archives from 1973 when Alabama played Notre Dame for the national championship. Notre Dame won 24 to 23 to claim the title and a perfect 11 - 0 season.
Text on the picture reads: 1973 Sugar Bowl, Notre Dame ( 11-0 ) 24 Alabama ( 11-1 ) 23, Coach Paul "Bear" Bryant is said to be simply the best there ever was. He coached for 25 years. He won 6 national titles at Alabama. The question mark was the split decision when he lost to Notre Dame in 1973.
